Software for ST-S1 / ST-S2 Windows Linux VAG-COM Vol-FCR FreeDiag

You can find VOL-FCR software on http://www.onboarddiagnostics.co.uk/volfcr/.
The software is designed for Volvo diagnostics 850, C70, S40, V40, S70, V70, 940, 960, S90, V90 produced after 1995. Specific manufacturer's standard protocol (not OBDII standard) is used for communication with the vehicle.
Vehicles are equipped with 16-pin connector that looks like OBDII SAE J1962 connector.

The basic advantage of the software is the possibility to read and clear diagnostic codes from the engine, gearbox, ABS, SRS and many other modules. These functions are not supported by the OBDII communication protocol.
Module coverage includes:

• Engine Petrol and Diesel (does not work for all the models, in that case use OBDII diagnostic tool)
• ABS brakes
• Automatic transmission
• SRS - Airbag and other protection systems
• Driver and Passenger seat memories
• Instruments including service light reset (only some models)
• ECC Climate Control - Air conditioning
• Immobiliser
• Alarm

• You have to approve software license each time you run the software
• Function clear DTC not available
• Function reset service light not available
• Not all diagnostic codes can be read
